Wellness Educator
Going hand in hand with Bett?s professional career is her lifelong
interest in teaching. She earned a Masters Degree (M.Ed) in counseling
from Antioch Graduate School of Education and began conducting wellness
programs in 1964. Today, her diverse audiences range from the American
Society on Aging and the National Council on Aging to Chevron Corp.
She?s taught students of all levels, including Yale University and the
California Institute for Integral Psychology. Bett is also Executive
Director of The Possible Society of California, a non-profit
organization that provides gentle Chinese exercise classes to seniors
and people with mobility impairments. During the past 15 years, she has
given presentations at the National and International Aging
Conferences, and has developed such programs as Aqua Ch?i? mindful
movement in water and Warriors Heart, for veterans.
